Jeanne Silverthorne, “Sheldon Treasures” at the Sheldon Museum of Art

Jeanne Silverthorne’s Phosphorescent Betty, 2004 is on view at the Sheldon Museum of Art as part of their “Sheldon Treasures” through July 2, 2022.

Sheldon Treasures is an ongoing, ever-changing exhibition that always provides a fresh look at the museum’s collection. From January to July 2022, it focuses on smaller gems that are exhibited less often but are no less impressive. Intimate-scale works by Romare Bearden, Mary Cassatt, Marc Chagall, Marsden Hartley, Norman Lewis, and Georgia O’Keefe, among others, are featured.
